Clinical practice is one of the most exciting aspects of your preparation towards becoming a registered nurse. They form a big part of your degree. Through the course of your study you’ll complete over 800 hours in a hospital or healthcare setting.
This site houses all the information about you and your placement. It will help you to keep track of your clinical compliance checks and the forms you’ll need to complete in preparation for, and during, your placements.
If you have any questions about preparing for your placement, and what to expect once on placement, take a look at our Clinical Placement Website. It covers everything from vaccinations to uniform and dress standards.
Of course, if you have more specific questions, the staff in the Clinical Practice Unit are there to answer them. They’re available for Counter Enquires from Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm at the City campus (Building 10, Level 6).
